Nuns News
Two appearances for Antique Seeking Nuns in the Prog friendly corners of the world’s media. Firstly, a brief but certainly appreciated, mention of the band in the second issue of Classic Rock’s Prog magazine courtesy of Mr Steve Davis, who is interviewed about his record collection. We’re given a name-check amongst such exalted company as Henry Cow, Gentle Giant and of course Magma. Thanks Steve! Also. another friend of ours, the deeply mysterious Mr Epileptic Gibbon has ASN leading off his latest podcast show of rather excellent prog/experimental/electronica from around the world. The tune Shatner’s Bassoon is featured along with a little voice link that we did for the show. The show can be found at www.epilepticgibbon.co.uk.
Gappy Tooth gig report

Saturdays gig was a big success and a good return to Oxford, despite the ever confusing name change. The band managed to be billed under three different titles, much to the consternation of supporting acts who frankly had no idea what was going on. If you managed to make it down to the show you’ll know that there has been a slight delay in the release schedule for “Careful It’s Tepid”. Two mix’s have proved to be unsatisfactory and so we’re heading back to the mastering studio with two freshly squeezed versions of Ointment for Flies and The bearded bag lady on the 14th of May. After which we’ll be able to make an official release date!
ASN will be playing at Jagz in the royal town of Ascot on the 14th of August. We hope to see you there!
